  • Yes, you can refinish your bathtub yourself. We recommend you don’t though unless you have the proper experience and equipment for multiple reasons

    1. Safety. This process involves a lot of toxic fumes being put in the air. Without proper equipment and safety gear, this can be a big safety hazard especially in the confines of a small bathroom.

    2. Quality. Without experience, you may experience runs, peeling, uneven colors, or brush marks depending on the method used.

    3. Cost. A previously refinished bathtub is more expensive to refinish, if you have to get it redone afterwards, you’ll be looking at higher cost in addition to money already spent.

    4. Time. Without the proper equipment, even done well could take much more time than expected. We know bathroom accessibility is important. We’ll be in and out and have you back in there within 24 hours.
